World Photography Day

Wednesday, August 19th is World Photography Day!

And I know I'm a little tardy here...but I just had to reshare the post I wrote on FB (and the snap too!) to honor this day.  It's still surreal to me that THIS is my job...my one and only job...and it's just the freaking BEST.  Truly living my dream!

Happy World Photography Day friends!

It's still so completely surreal to me that THIS is my full time job. And even more so with the complete {mostly pandemic} insanity that is 2020, I am still snapping births and newborns and families and living my absolute dream.

Thank you so much for the love and support -- and best clients ever!! -- who is keeping this dream of mine alive and seemingly at full throttle. Clark gave me that nudge nearly 2 years ago to hang up my teacher hat forever and jump into this scary unknown world of working for myself and boy oh boy has it ever paid off. Best decision ever. Thank you little buddy for that push 💙📸

And I had to throw in this little comparison gem from a few years ago too...lots of changes between these pictures, but still the same core love for photography and striving each and every day to make myself better and better with this amazing job I get to call my own. 

2020 has sucked on a lot of fronts...but for my business, despite not working for nearly 2 months, it's actually been pretty amazing.  Hoping and praying the rest of 2020 holds true (or better!) -- and 2021 will be the best year EVER for me!  I am so excited to see what is to come for my career's future!  Truly living "if you dream it, you can do it"!!
