Hiking Adventures
I alluded to this in my last post...we went on a hiking adventure earlier this week! The kids and I HAD TO GET OUT. Mike was snoozing, it was the weekend so no schoolwork to get done and they were so restless so we had to go exploring. It was a little chilly but sunny and I thought it was the perfect day to go to my favorite snappin' spot (where I do some of my twilight minis) with the kiddos for a little hike and playtime in the creek.
I brought my big camera with my new wide angle lens that we had to take advantage of for some bridge snaps over the creek before we went on our hike. They clearly were thrilled with me with this request. Haha!
Teddy then went in my Tula and off we went!
We hiked a bit and played with sticks and logs and truly the kids just had a blast being silly. It was actually just perfect.
Patrick grabbed my phone and snapped a few pics of me snapping pics of the girls...

After our hike we decided to go back and play in the creek. Everyone (well, except Teddy and I) got completely soaked! They had a blast though so it was well worth it.
All in all, it was a wonderful day. The only thing that would have been better would have been if Mike was there to adventure with us! Hopefully we can take him on our next adventure when he's off next. Stay tuned... :)
