29 Weeks 🌈
29 weeks todayyyy! 8 weeks to go. Less than 2 months. Holy cats folks, it's getting real! I know this time is gonna sail by (or continue to) and I am just hitting fast-forward and wanting it to go as fast as possible.
I had my 28 week growth scan and checkup with the high risk OB (who actually had to leave for a delivery so I just saw the nurse practitioner...which was fine since everything was good to go!!) last week and everything looks just PERFECT with this kiddo. He/she jumped from the 30% to the 55% so a great growth since 22 weeks. My fluids looked awesome and there was no swelling, edema, ANYTHING anywhere! I hope it continues to stay like this for the next 8 weeks...cause having good appointments like this definitely calm my anxieties.
I officially wrapped up my crazy insane birth month snapping my final birth of NINE I had booked all due within a month of each other and I'm proud to say I missed ZERO of them and made it to all (some with just minutes to spare!). It was insanely busy but oh-so-good. Each of them truly has helped me get more excited (and keep my anxiety at bay a bit) for this babe's upcoming arrival and as much as I love snapping births, I'm excited for a bit of time off call for a while too.
Mike made my stand by his elephant ears the other day and he said he couldn't tell who is bigger. HAHA! Such a jokester he is. hahahaha.
Patrick snapped these lovely gems of me and I figured they needed to go in this week's post! He was showing Annie how to use my big camera so got a few snaps of mama bear here as his subject. And I kind of love them even though the focus is off ;-) Candid always wins!
Other than that, not much else exciting going on! My girlfriends and I enjoyed a quick little 24 hours away this past weekend and it was so awesome to have a few hours away from the hustle and bustle and responsibilities! I truly enjoyed eating...A LOT. HAHA! But I mean, if I couldn't indulge in the wine, eating was the next best thing.
Welp friends, that's all I've got for 29 weeks...cannot believe we're in week 30 next week! AHHHH!! Keep going quick please...cannot wait to get to November SO SOON!!
