Friday Musings
Ahhhh, Friday, here we are! It's so good to see you! What a whirlwind of a week it's been...I know I've alluded to it here, but lots of big things are happening for me and it's been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least! I'm not putting anything in blog right now, but just know that big things are hopefully a'comin' for me and I could not be any more thrilled and excited about it!!!
Okay! With that said...it's officially Rosie's 3rd birthday! I have a nice little 3 year post all about her comin' atcha later today after her 3 year checkup at the doc...so you can wait on pins and needles for that one until it comes :)
Ro did have an awesome 'almost' birthday yesterday by celebrating at school with her friends, opening her presents from Lauren, Bob, and Suzie, and then on a special date with mommy to get her nails done (which she wanted to wear her princess outfit to by the way. haha! Oh Ro!) -- I am so excited to continue to celebrate with her later today and tomorrow at her mingo party!!
So what have we been up to lately?! Gosh a TON. I mean, my snappins have been picking back up and after 12 minis last weekend, an engagement, newborn, senior sesh all in the past few days I am definitely back full throttle it seems! School has about 7ish weeks left before summer and that just means that my snappin' schedule is going to ramp up even more! But I'm pumped and excited about that cause dang nabit I freaking love taking pictures!!!
Speaking of, let's do a few 'then and now' comparison pics for ya so you can see how far I've come in 4 years...
Top/left are from 2014 and bottom/right are from NOW. HOLY DIFFERENCE batman! I mean, I have truly come SO FAR it seems and I cannot wait to see what my pics look like 4 years from now! Many thanks to my friends for letting me take pics of them when I didn't know what I was doing (but thought I did!) and sticking with me for so long to continue to let me snap your adorable fams and letting my photog skills grow with you! I SO APPRECIATE IT.
Earlier this week Annie had this ahhhhh-dorable Sloth shirt on from Swanky Shank and I just had to snap a few pics of her in that morning light in our entry way.
Isn't she getting so big??!? And doesn't she look way older than 14 months with her little outfit and not a onesie or sleeper??! Golly she's getting too big too fast!!
Gosh, Annie girl, you are getting SO BIG SO FAST! I cannot handle it! And, at this point when Rosie was 14 months old I was already pregnant with Annie! INSANE! --Not pregnant, by the way :) Just tossing that OMG factor in there with how old Annie actually is!! CRAZY!
Flash got him. Oops. But this kid, oh man, this kid! He was addicted to E.T. for maybe a week until we introduced him to Indiana Jones and now we have watched all 4 Indiana Jones movies every.single.night. for the past 2 weeks! I'm not complaining though, I love my some Harrison Ford and those movies OH SO MUCH! So glad he is loving them too -- and is now requesting an Indiana Jones birthday party! HAHA! I LOVE IT!
I'll end this little Friday musings post with this lovely pic of Rosie happily enjoying her 8 stickers she got for not voting (but I did vote! And got no stickers to show for it. humph.) earlier this week. Local elections are just as important as the big ones peeps!
Anyways, I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and great weekend...and if you're in STL, STAY DRY!! I hope to have a few more posts all about our biggest little lady's birthday festivities and parties later this weekend! WOOT!
