5 Year Anniversary

WOWZERS.  I cannot believe it has been FIVE YEARS since we got married.  Truly we blinked and BAM!  5 years have flown by.

I decided to pay homage to year 5 of marriage by picking out my 5 favorite pics from the past 5 years to commemorate this day!  Kinda fun, huh?!  I don't want to tell you how long it took me to pick all of these because I had such a fun time looking back at snaps from the past 5 years.

I made a cute little video with one of Mike & my's favorite songs, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by IZ.  We LOVE that song.  Maybe it should have been our first dance song?!  Oh well.  We love Toby Keith too and his "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This" was our that for us...but that one didn't fit with these snaps as well as this one did :)

Anyways, I re-read my wedding post and got all sappy feeling again (seems to be common place these days with walks down memory lane!) but gosh, what an amazing day that was!  Mike and I had the best wedding EVER (biased, I know!) and had such a wonderful day celebrating with our family and friends.

Besides having the past 5 years fly by, Mike and I have been blessed with 3 amazing kiddos and oodles of memories in the process.  Each day, despite the craziness of having 3 kids 4 and under, is better than the last.  I feel like such a lucky gal to not only be a mama to these kiddos but a wife to Mike.  Best 5 years yet!  Cannot wait to see what the next 5 have in store for us!  A billion more incredible memories I hope :)

Mike is snoozing today but when he gets up we are dropping the kids off and heading to one of our favorite restaurants, Favazza's (who catered our wedding reception!) and the Ted Drewes for dessert.  I cannot wait!  I've been excited about this all week long, and even more excited that it's a true legit date night sans kids!  Those are far and few between but I try and savor each and every one!
