Annie & Scoots...& Nap Time!
As I'm typing this the heat index is creeping close to 100. YUCKKKK.
It's May 28th. April was one of the coldest on record here in STL and now May is slated to be one of the hottest. We've officially bypassed spring it seems. YUCKITY YUCK.
I was telling my friend who lives out of state, unless you are in a pool, you don't want to be outside cause it's so hot and disgusting. It feels like if you breathed out a million times into a paper bag and had to walk through that -- that's what today feels like.
So! We stayed inside! Haha!
After getting Annie up a bit early (which ^^ she clearly did not mind one bit about!) we headed out for a nice little breakfast with my wonderful mother-in-law to treat her for officially being retired! We then played for a bit and I helped set up her new Chromebook before we headed home.
I had a few more errands to do but I elected to do them during nap time sans Annie cause it was just too hot to be lugging her around for stuff today...and truly I didn't want to really go anywhere cause I was SO hot! HAHA! I'm such a wimp -- how on earth did I once play 5 games a day of softball in this kind of weather?!??!
Anyways, Annie was being extra cuddly with Scoots this morning so, duh, I grabbed my camera and snapped a few pics of her snugglin' up with her favorite fur brother! How freaking cute are they?!?!
We then had a quick lunch, thanked God that our AC was working amazingly well today, and Annie went down for a siesta and I got some stuff done around the house, a few errands run, and some other odds and ends before our trip!
WHICH, before I got some stuff done I went to check on Annie and oh my gosh was she sleeping so freaking cute!
She was cuddled up with her bunny that she's been obsessed with lately and I just HAD to go grab my camera for a couple cute sleepy snaps...cause duh, I just can't stop snapping!!
Golly isn't she so freaking adorable?!? I could just eat her up! #sobiased
Anyways, I actually am headed out to take my parents to the airport later this afternoon before my photoshoot -- they are off to Europe a week earlier than us and we are meeting up with them in a week when we get in! They get almost 3 weeks in Europe -- lucky ducks! Anyways, that's all I've got for this rare two-post-a-day share from me...hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day!!
