39 weeks.
My c-section is scheduled for 10am today...Mike and I are dropping Patrick off at school and then heading to the hospital to meet this little kiddo! To say I'm excited is an understatement -- I cannot flippin' wait. I have his/her bag packed with cute little outfits and blankets and a few headbands (you know, in case my #teamgreen girl prediction is right) and other things. EEKKKK! Cannot wait!
So this past week I wrapped up school (on maternity leave until May! WOOT!) a couple days early last Wednesday (just too much back and rib pain to get through the rest of the week, which was a good call on my part) and finished up a few housekeeping things at home to get ready for #3. I think I was super excited and anxious all week long that that kept me busy and literally counting down the days until TODAY when we get to meet our new son our daughter!
I literally had 3 lists (one in my phone, one in my room, one in the kitchen) of all of the things I needed to get done before leaving for the hospital today. I will say, that's the one nice part about having a scheduled c-section -- I can make sure I get everything done before we leave! Stuff just like making sure Rosie's diapers are all washed, bedding and towels cleaned, fridge cleaned out, etc... I did schedule our cleaning lady to come on Friday so yay to coming home to a clean house on Saturday!
I had my very last OB appointment on Thursday and everything is looking good! What's crazy is that my belly was measuring at 43+ weeks! I looked back at my 39 week post with Rosie and at that point it was still measuring 41 weeks...with a heartrate in the 130s. This kid's heartrate was 150 on Thursday! I'm still most definitely thinking girl...and a big one (like 9+ pounds is my guess!) at that! Other than that, we discussed the c-section procedure and all that jazz and then I made sure to preregister and such just to save us some time TODAY!

So! That's about all I've got for this super early 39 week post! I'm hoping my next post in the next day or so is #3's birth story...with oodles and oodles of pictures to spam you with. Get excited...I know I sure am! AHHHHHH! Here's to being outnumbered and having 3 kiddos oh-so-soon!
