23 weeks.
23 weeks today! Holy toledo only 16 weeks to go. Can.not.believe.it. I *should* be heading back to my OB next week buttttt since I had to add ultrasounds onto every appointment I am actually going the following week instead because they couldn't squeeze me in next week. Fingers and toes and everything crossed that this placenta has moved even a teeny tiny bit!
Mike and I snapped our last wedding of 2016 over the weekend and it was exhausting. Fun but EXHAUSTING. At the end of the night one of the wedding planners came up to me and asked when I was due. She seemed shocked when I said the end of January and I reassured her that this was my third so duh, my body has been through this before. She then proceeded to tell me that they really need to check and make sure there isn't two or three in there because I look like I'm having multiples. Gee, thanks. I KNOW I'm big. I get big when I'm pregnant! And I have big babies. But COME ON PEOPLE. These comments need to stop. I told Mike on the way home I'm just going to lie and tell people I'm due in a few weeks so they're not so shocked when I tell them it's really 3.5 months away. I know it shouldn't bother me because it seems to happen all the time and I should be use to it...but it does. Gah.
Other than exhaustion from the wedding and some seasonal allergies (that are all year, not in fact seasonal. Annoying), I'm feeling good! Anxious for January to find out if this is a little lady or man, and to finally settle the great name debate. Mike and I keep going round and round with names and I'm sure it'll end up being a game-time decision like it was for Rosie.
So that's about all I've got for week 23: huge, tired, but overall happy and excited! We have TWO weddings this weekend to ATTEND and both Mike and I are greatly looking forward to actually being guests and not working them. So that should be fun. And Mike's off from now until 11pm Sunday night so I'm quite excited about that -- like a mini vacation for him! Until week 24 peeps, adios!
